Pac-Man Heat Changing Mug – The Cup For Retro Gamers!
November 27, 2010
This one’s for all you retro games lovers out there, the Pac-Man Heat Changing Mug!
Pac-Man was, and still is, a classic to this day despite being 30 years old. So much so that I’ve got a plug and play version for that old nostalgic gamer inside me. Well, it’s Miss Pac-Man and it’s the other half’s game, but still, I have a version in my house.
I may have been a few years old before I realised what Pac-Man was, but it’s games like this that got me hooked into gaming and helped me to spend/waste (however you perceive it) days of my life glued to a TV screen with a controller trying to get to the next level before I was called for dinner!
Desktop Coffee Maker – Convenience For The (Lazy) Caffeine Addict!
November 21, 2010
There is nothing quite like a cup of hot, steaming coffee to get you through that long night’s load of work. On those tedious evenings where your eyes are fixed to the screen and the only thing on your mind is sleep, what you need is a convenient Desktop Coffee Maker!
Many of us (including me) find that cup after cup of coffee is the only way to stop yourself from dozing off without sticking cocktail sticks in your eyes and simply hoping for the best.
But one of the major downsides to having a much-needed mug of coffee, is usually you are forced to leave your chair (which in itself is harder than it seems when you’re this tired) and go and wait for the water to boil before making the drink.
Headcase iPhone Case Bottle Opener
October 27, 2010
Some gadgets seem to have been made by following the simple gadget recipe. Take two seemingly innocent gadgets and mix together. Add a splash of technology and practical sense then bake until it looks pretty, kind of like with the iPhone Universal Remote Control.
By sticking to this very simple recipe the Headcase iPhone Case Bottle Opener has been spawned.
Combining two of man’s greatest interests (pratting about on smart phones and alcohol) the Headcase team has created one of the best I phone cases we have ever seen.
Hot-Cold Mug – Colour Changes As Tea/Coffee Cools!
September 9, 2010
Do you know what the Katy Perry song “Hot N Cold” was written about? No, not about relationships as you might think, it was in fact written about the ever changing temperatures of hot beverages and the fantastic invention of the Hot/Cold Mug, FACT!… maybe.
But in all seriousness the Hot-Cold Mug is a brilliantly simple idea. If you decide to have a nice cool cup of water the mug sits in a deep blue colour with large white lettering displaying the word “COLD” on the side.
Ceramic Pint Mugs! – Have Large Office Drinks To Keep You Going!
July 27, 2010
People’s greed and necessity to have more than what is required never ceases to amaze me. But none the less, here it is, in true Gadgets For Men style…the Ceramic Pint Mug!
A mug that holds a pint. A pint, of coffee perhaps or a pint of tea. Don’t be expecting to sleep much if you fill it with coffee though.
These ceramic mugs are perfect for anyone who is just not satisfied with the standard mug. These ceramic mugs even have the classic pint glass indent design just to emphasise the pint status even more!
Pump Action Shot Gun (Drink Dispenser)
July 5, 2010
Aghh, summer is hear and just to put the icing on the cake it’s also the World Cup. As any real man knows, summer + football = getting drunk, a lot!
So in this vain of though you may consider yourself quite the drunken expert and can see no real room for a booze gadget in your life. Well, to put it simply, when it comes to the Pump Action Shot Gun you’re wrong.
What event would not be improved by an alcohol dispensing shot gun? That’s right, a gun… that shoots alcohol! Some genius has gone and combined two of a man’s favourite things into one magical gadget – yet another cool gadget to use while enjoying burgers cooked with a rotating BBQ!
Not A White Paper Cup, It’s A Ceramic Paper-Looking Cup!
January 23, 2010
I think at some point everybody has wandered into the kitchen and thought ‘hmm, I don’t like these mugs anymore if only I had a (ceramic) Paper Cup…but one that I didn’t have to throw away’. Well maybe not but that’s exactly what this is. It even has the little sippy silicone lid that has become so iconic from take away coffee shops.
Suitable for dishwashers and totally renewable its good for environment as well as being useful. The silicon lid conceals the heat so you’re cuppa doesn’t go cold in a matter of minutes. It is a simple, plain, white porcelain mug that looks identical to a paper cup. What a quirky, but novel idea!
Chain Wine Bottle Holder
January 8, 2010
Ok so this Chain Wine Bottle Holder may seem kind of a pointless gadget…apart from the fact it will probably amaze everyone who sees it…at least for a short time until they decide to take the wine and have a drink.
Basically, the seemingly average nickel plated chain holds any bottle of wine aloft as if by magic. Looking at the images I’m still not sure I fully understand how this thing works, but apparently it does.
Slushie Maker – Cool Ice Drinks! (Retro Style)
January 4, 2010
Not too long ago you could buy a Slush Puppie cold iced drink in almost every general store, fair or festival you entered as they had their own Slushie Maker. Nowadays we are forced to reminisce about the days we could do such things. Until now. The Slushie Maker let’s you create your very own cool ice drinks in all of your favourite fruity flavours.
It’s absolutely idiot proof. You can put any type of drink in there even tea or coffee, but I recommend you stick to fruit juice. Just pack the machine with ice and add a pinch of salt (I am assured that you can’t taste it) as well as a splash of liquid; switch it on and boom you have a Slushie drink.
Ice Shot Glasses
June 2, 2009
What is it?
We love simple ideas especially when they make our life easier and more fun. This little piece of bar gadgetry is one of those ideas. The Ice Shot Glasses are essentially a kit that allows you to make 12 ice shot glasses at once. The process involved is very complicated as it involves difficult tasks like filling the trays, placing the caps on and then putting them in your freezer. It odiously comes with instructions (just in case a woman has a go) JOKING!… (even with instructions it would be hard work for them) Yes we are all sexist pigs, but in a good way.
The kit is hand wash only and the glasses, once frozen, hold approximately 30ml of booze.
