Foolproof Egg Timer

Foolproof is a bold claim, like unsinkable – and we know what happened to the titanic! And then to state this along side something as egg-zact as boiling an egg, we were dubious to say the least about the Foolproof Egg Timer. Upon closer investigation we realised this little red egg actually works on some simply complicated science, that we won’t bore you with, but as a result actually makes the timer surprisingly accurate, in a surprising number of ways.

The simple bit of science allows the timer to work on heat rather than time witch does not sound like such a big thing at first. Because of this fresh perspective the timer does some very clever things like; it takes into account how many eggs you are cooking at once, and how much water they are being cooked in, and at what altitude you are cooking them! How does it do that? Well, that’s the complicated bit of the science that you don’t need to worry about. All you need to know are GFM’s 5 foolproof steps;

Step 1) Take your Foolproof Egg Timer out of its packaging.

Step 2) Drop the Foolproof Egg Timer into your pan of boiling water along with your eggs.

Step 3) Watch the Foolproof Egg Timer closely as its outer sides slowly change colour.

Step 4) When the Foolproof Egg Timer’s changing colour sides meets your egg preference line, your eggs are done so take them out of the water (!WARNING! the water will be hot, so fools please DO NOT just use your hands)

Step 5) Sit back, relax and enjoy your perfectly cooked eggs.
