Freeline Skates – Next Skating Craze?
What is it?
Freeline Skates are a mad mash of skateboarding and rollerblading resulting in a pair of lightweight aluminium skates measuring in at a tiny 19 x 18 x 18cm. No straps necessary (like skateboarding) as your feet remain on the scates using gravity and friction. This results in a highly manoeuvrable experience especially when rocketing down hill.
Why do I want it?
Skateboarding is so “last year”, so be the first to show off in front of you friends and easily carve up your local skate park. As they are so small and light weight they can be easily shoved in a back pack and taken to your chosen locations. No previous skating/boarding history required makes them suitable for novices and pros looking for something a little different. Not sure if you will be rad enough to handle Freeline Skates?
