Screwpop Keyring Multi-Tool
November 12, 2010 - Written by Rob Nichols · Filed under Keyring Gadgets, Tool Gadgets
Here’s a nice tool for those of us who frequently get caught out and about without the right equipment. The Screwpop Keyring Multi-Tool. A neat multi-functional piece of kit that follows the example of the Kelvin .23 Multi-Tool, but is far more simplistic, yet extremely functional.
The 4-in-1 keychain tool features a Phillips #2, a Flathead Screwdriver #2, a 1/4” Hex. Nut Driver and a Bottle Pop-Top Opener. So as you can tell, a pretty comprehensive little tool which is extremely tiny it sits right on your keyring and size wise is just a little bigger than an average key.
Pillow Tie – The Perfect Office Sleeping Gadget!
November 6, 2010 - Written by Mike · Filed under Clothing Gadgets, Office Gadgets
The switched on among you will not need to read this review as you will fully understand, just by the title, what this gadget is and does. But for the benefit of my witty explanation, read on and I will explain all there is to know about the Pillow Tie!
As the title suggests this is a tie that doubles up as a pillow. It works by using some cutting edge technology and combines this with a state of the art inflation system. In its “Tie” form it is a stylish addition to any suit and behaves as you would expect a tie to. But then when the moment hits you and you decide you need somewhere soft to rest your weary head you simply pop the small nozzle at the big end of the tie, and blow into it.
Headcase iPhone Case Bottle Opener

Some gadgets seem to have been made by following the simple gadget recipe. Take two seemingly innocent gadgets and mix together. Add a splash of technology and practical sense then bake until it looks pretty, kind of like with the iPhone Universal Remote Control.
By sticking to this very simple recipe the Headcase iPhone Case Bottle Opener has been spawned.
Combining two of man’s greatest interests (pratting about on smart phones and alcohol) the Headcase team has created one of the best I phone cases we have ever seen.
iPhone Universal Remote Control – Stop Losing Those Channel Changers!

Sometimes the best gadgets come from combining two already existing technologies. This is deferentially the case with the iPhone Universal Remote Control.
Most well equipped front rooms now have at least 3 remote controls kicking around on the sofa. One for the TV, one for the Sky HD Box and one for the media player to name but a few. This can get a little frustrating as they can often slip down the sides of cushions, under seating or be transported into other rooms by the remote control fairies that then make them near impossible to find.

Bacon Chocolate – The Ultimate Novelty Food Treat Combination?

Hear at GFM we consider ourselves to be quite the gourmet of the snack food world, purely based on the amount we consume on a weekly basis and in the past we wrote about one of our favourites being Baconnaise – the bacon flavoured mayonnaise.
Now when you first think about Bacon Flavoured Chocolate, don’t be too quick to dismiss it as we are fully aware that often the most delicious food combinations are often born through seemingly insane meetings of tasty morsels, especially when using the likes of the Ice Cream Ball.
Retro Arcade Machine Money Box

Nostalgia is a funny old thing, and we all love it. When we saw the Retro Arcade Machine Money Box some of us here at GFM HQ were nearly overcome by feelings and memories from yester year.
Not because we had a childhood money box that we loved, but because this particular money box is shaped like the arcade machine classic, Earth Defenders (Space Invaders). The replica is that “looky likey” it even has the big blocky red and black alien dude on the side.
Remote Controlled Colour Changing Light Bulbs

Now and again we stumble across a gadget that gets everyone in the office a little bit excited. The remote Controlled Colour Changing Light Bulbs sent waves of child-like giddiness through more than one of the GFM team.
It did this because it obeys some of the great rules of “For Men” gadgetry – Turn an everyday boring item into a brilliant piece of remote controlled gadgetry that does not cost the earth to buy!
Light bulbs use to be the bane of a man’s existence as they always needed changing and on the hole were pretty dull. They could be made slightly more interesting if you forked out for a red bulb for the bedroom, in the hope of tricking some lusty lady into thinking she was on the scene of a rough 80s “special interest” film set, but only a few had the talent to pull this off and not look like a proper weirdo.
Voodoo Pen Holder / Display Block

Much like the voodoo knife block, this designer pen display would fit nicely in any home. However, this little beauty could fit in in any room of the house, not just the kitchen, or perhaps it’s maybe even better suited to your office desk. The designer feel to this Voodoo Pen Holder / Display makes it modern and attractive. The striking red colour though, does look somewhat disgusting.
The pens themselves are simple ballpoints which look nice and are shaped a lot like aluminium icicles. Which is fairly disturbing as they are jammed through various body parts of the quivering statue display stand. One’s going right through his forehead! It’s like some magician’s performance gone horribly wrong!
Hot-Cold Mug – Colour Changes As Tea/Coffee Cools!

Do you know what the Katy Perry song “Hot N Cold” was written about? No, not about relationships as you might think, it was in fact written about the ever changing temperatures of hot beverages and the fantastic invention of the Hot/Cold Mug, FACT!… maybe.
But in all seriousness the Hot-Cold Mug is a brilliantly simple idea. If you decide to have a nice cool cup of water the mug sits in a deep blue colour with large white lettering displaying the word “COLD” on the side.
